What’s Confirmed for CBSE Board Exams 2025
Continuing last year's policy, CBSE will not declare toppers, distinctions, or overall divisions for Class 10 & 12 students in 2025. No percentage scores will be shared.

Internal assessments will now count for 40% of your total score. The remaining 60% will be based on board exams, focusing on projects, assignments, and periodic tests.
To align with NEP 2020, expect 50% of questions to be practical or skill-based. The focus will be on critical thinking and real-world applications, not rote memorization.

CBSE plans to roll out digital assessments in some subjects. Open-book exams may soon be a reality for English Literature & Social Science to enhance analytical skills.
