𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀? 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱! 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!
From AUD 710 to 𝗔𝗨𝗗 𝟭,𝟲𝟬𝟬. An effective 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟮𝟲%!
The change, effective from July 1, 2024, has raised concerns among the Indian diaspora. Forming a substantial portion of the country’s international community (118,109 as of 2024), prospects now find themselves disillusioned. With global inflation and rising living costs, the additional 𝗔𝗨𝗗 𝟴𝟵𝟬 (𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗜𝗡𝗥) fee represents a significant burden–before stepping into the country.

Add to that global inflation and rising living costs, and students are now questioning:
“𝗜𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮?”
A traditionally preferred destination for decades, Australia has long been the prominent choice for Indian students—due to its world-class universities and post-study work opportunities. However, recent news of Australia’s immigration law changes, including the now new “student visa fee increase,” has only made the numbers decrease. Add to its 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, and inability to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀–and the recipe has quickly become a PR disaster.
“𝘼𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙖, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙨! 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨!”
Following the news, this sentiment is what collectively echoed across all the protests in the country, including in cities like Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.
Looking from afar, the changes, in theory, to the 𝟰𝟴𝟱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮 are meant to bring about a more younger generation of skilled migrants to Australia. However, a theory is one thing–in practice, it is another. The result? A loss of goodwill and a worsening of reputation.
Especially when it comes to the India-Australia relationship, which has historically been a cornerstone of bilateral ties.
𝙎𝙤 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩?
With the rising costs and stricter policies, Indian students are now considering other 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 for higher education. 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀!
Names attracting the most attention include:
• 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆, with its no-tuition policy at public universities, and affordable cost of living.
• 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, given its goal to host 30,000 Indian students by 2030
• 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, owing to its growing appeal, high ROI and flexible work-study prospects.
Plus,

• 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺: A traditionally popular destination, owing to its academic and research excellence, as well as substantial financial relief and work opportunities.
Moreover, studying in the UK could actually be your smartest financial move. Why? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵:
Tuition fees, coupled with scholarships, bring your costs down to around ₹15 lakhs per year.
Add 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 £𝟭𝟮 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿, and you’re earning while you learn. Moreover, with an 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟯𝟬 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 and a 𝟮𝟰-𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁, you are looking at 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 possibly up to ₹𝟲𝟱 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀!
That’s more than covering your expenses—that 𝟮𝟬𝟬% 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 with an enviable global career.
But Here’s a Catch. One that every Indian student (and you reading this) should be aware of:
Does an admission letter from an international university alone set you up for success? Be it 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞, 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆, 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 or anywhere else—your education may open the door, but your career starts where it ends.
And that’s exactly where most consultants fail. Admission secured, job done.
But is that enough in today’s hyper-competitive world?
What if you had a partner who guided you all the way—beyond admission? Someone who helped you secure internships, build an impressive portfolio, and land your dream job with confidence?
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻.
We don’t just stop at getting you into your dream university. We focus on your entire journey—from the classroom to the global job market.
