Model 1: Describe a person you know who likes to talk a lot

Introduction.

Some people are born with the habit of talking a lot. While some attain this habit at a later stage of their life. As you have given me this question, I can think of only one person I know who likes to talk a lot.

Who this person is

Here I am going to talk about my sister who likes to talk a lot. She is 4 years younger than me but can talk on any topic for hours. She is liked more by our relatives as she keeps them entertained whenever they visit our home. Sometimes I have to shut her mouth in front of guests.

How do you know him/her?

As mentioned earlier, she is my sister and she is 4 years younger than me. She loved talking since she was a kid. She would sit in her playhouse and have a gossip party with all her dolls. We knew since then that she was going to bite our ears off by just talking.

What does he/she like to talk about?

She is still a kid studying in 7th grade, so she mostly talks about her school and friends. Every day as soon as she returns from school, she throws her bag away in a corner and starts talking about her day to whoever is listening. She starts from the first period and goes on till the time she reaches back home. Other than this she also likes to talk about the cartoons and movies she watches. She has this habit of giving me a review after watching a movie or a cartoon. On days when there is no one around, she hosts a tea party for all her dolls and makes them gossip too.

And explain how you feel about this person.

Well, she is my sister so I love her a lot. I am her favourite person to talk to and rant about things. It makes me feel special that every time she watches a movie, she comes to me to give a detailed review. It strengthens our bond and makes her trust me. But I also feel that sometimes her habit of talking a lot causes negative effects. For example, when we are studying I have to ask her and sometimes even scold her to focus on studying instead of talking. Talking a lot scatters her focus everywhere.

Conclusion

To conclude I want to say that talking is a good habit, some people like to talk a lot too but it can be harmful to them in the long run. In this case, I am worried about my sister because her habit of talking too much on every topic has caused her to have a monkey mind which may affect her academically in future.

Model 2: Describe a person you know who likes to talk a lot

 Introduction

Talking is a good and appreciated habit. Talking about problems can make one feel light as he/she gets it all out. However, talking too much gets annoying at times for people around them. I am going to talk about a person I know who likes to talk a lot.

Who this person is.

This person is my childhood friend named Sirohi. We have known each other for 16 years. We met when we both were 8 years old, studying in Upper Kinder Garten. We have become best friends since then.

How do you know this person?

She is my childhood friend. We grew up together when we met I was shy but she initiated conversations by asking me about my school, classes and friends and told me hers. It was because of her ability to talk too much I was able to befriend her.

What does he/she like to talk about?

Every day at night before going to bed we meet at the terrace of my house where we sit and talk about our days generally, she likes to talk about her day. But often I hear her talk about how she wants to start a food café. She goes on and on about how she loves eating food and since she was a kid, she had this dream of owning her food café.

And how do you feel about this person?

As I said, she is my childhood friend and I have spent a major part of my life with her. I like her and appreciate her for talking to me about everything. But regarding her dream, I feel that all she does is talk about it instead of doing something for it. I think it’s either a lack of motivation or she doesn’t believe herself enough to work towards her dream. Nowadays, I start to get irritated as soon as she talks about owning a food café.

 Conclusion

To sum it all up, talking is a good habit, but one should know their limit of talking and start working towards their goals. In this case, I have tried to motivate my friend Sirohi and offer her any kind of help she needs. I will talk to her again about how she is just talking but doing nothing to make her dream come true. I hope it helps her realise that for this particular set, it’s time she stops talking and starts working.
