Dalhousie: Describe An Unusual Holiday You Had

What Holiday Was It?

Holidays are important in our lives, especially after a busy period. Last year I completed my senior secondary education, for which I had pressure for a long time, so after completing my examinations, it is true that my mind was on the planning of a holiday trip with my family to Dalhousie.

Who Were You With?

I was with my family during the plan. We decided everything in advance for our trip. I was very excited to explore new places, but in the evening we stopped at a restaurant to eat something, but none of us enjoyed the meal. The food was not fresh and seemed to be half-baked in a hurry. This was an unusual memory from a family trip.

What Did You Do?

The matter got even worse when, in the middle of the night, I felt a pain in my stomach when I visited the doctor. He said I needed a rest for two days. My parents and cousins have to take care of me. This made a holiday trip very unusual and the way we never expected it to be.  Additionally, the level of my excitement turned into a level of fear, which was pleasing to me. I have this kind of holiday trip after so much stress with my family.

And Explain Why It Was Unusual.

Even after taking the medicine, it did not improve. Finally, my parents decided to treat me and go back home so that I could rest and feel okay. This was the worst holiday for me. Almost everything went unexpectedly from an unpleasant meal to suffering from health issues. It helps me a lot to recover from health issues and I realize the love and support of my family will always support me in my thick and thin situations.

Himachal Pradesh: Describe An Unusual Holiday You Had

What Holiday Was It?

Being a Traveler enthusiast, I regularly go on holiday trips and have so many experiences. One is unique and hence worth mentioning. I had an unusual holiday with my friends. It was a Corona pandemic lockdown since everything was allowed to stay indoors for an extended period due to the pandemic. After everything started to get better, I started planning a trip with my friends to spend a holiday together so we went for a holiday to a remote village in The Hills of Himachal Pradesh.

Who Were You With?

I was with my friends to enjoy the unexpected lockdown during the Crona pandemic. We had an unusual experience because there were no proper connected routes to the village. so we had to climb to reach the Hilltopm  Moreover, there was no electricity so everything was made available from the natural resources available nearby.

What Did You Do?

Since there was no electricity we had to light up the wood to spend the night in cold temperatures and the cooking was also done in a wood oven. This was a new experience but at the same time, it was a very unusual movement for us. We had some good mouth-water delicious vegetables called gnocchi mushrooms which is quite a new experience available only in hill stations.

And Explain Why It Was Unusual.

Overall, it was an unusual experience because I live in a city with a lot of traffic and noise pollution whereas in the village there were no vehicles available we had to travel by ourselves and there was no noise pollution.  The air was clean and pleasant, however the only voice was of the birds chirping. I enjoyed myself with my friends but at the same time, it was unusual because of the lack of resources In villages.

What Holiday Was It?

Honestly, I am fond of traveling and I love to explore new places, On my holiday here I will talk about a time when I went on a 3-day holiday trip with my friends last month we all spent time together. In Shimla,  we did adventurous activities in Shimla, which is located in Himachal Pradesh state. We never had a similar kind of holiday before, so this was an unusual holiday for us.

Who Were You With?

Aside from this, it was our first trip after school, so we all got food for our journey so that we could enjoy our first trip after school. At 5:00 a.m. in the early morning, we reach there around 11:00 a.m. The journey was overall 6 years long, and it made us feel tired. After reaching there, we both went to the hotel to stay, take a nap, and relax our bodies. After this, my friend and I went to Adventure Park for some adventure activities, and we enjoyed every ride.

What Did You Do?

On the second day of the trip, we decided to go for water boating and then paragliding. Here I am afraid of water, but when I was convincing myself to go for both riding and paragliding, it was really difficult for me to go. I force myself not to go because of my fear. Fortunately, there were some good movements. When I went with my friends to the place to boat riding, everyone was enjoying themselves, and for a moment I forgot about my fear and decided to go on a boat ride, which was a really exciting moment for me and very unusual at the same time. The trip was good and helped me to realize a lot of things.

And Explain Why It Was Unusual.

The journey was overall really unusual for me, as I never went for water activities but with friends, and by looking at the environment, I was very much convinced to try something new in my life. I enjoyed everything, and this was an unusual movement for me during a holiday.
