Module 1: Describe Your Favorite Movie

Introduction:

Since I enjoy watching films the most and find them to be the best form of entertainment and stress relief, I will take this opportunity to discuss my love of “Taare Zameen par.”

When did you see it, and where?

I only watched it about a month ago at my friend’s recommendation. It was Sunday, and all of us family members were free to watch this family film. Thus, we decided to watch it on Netflix.

What did the movie Convey and not Convoy?

The film is about a young boy who has a rare ailment called dyslexia, which causes major problems in reading and writing. Despite this, the child excels in drawing and has a vivid imagination. However, the parents always push and drive their children to perform well in school.

He frequently receives punishment from both his parents and the teacher because of his bad performance. Luckily, a new teacher named Amir Khan, who had the same illness as a youngster, happens to walk into the school one day. Thus, he recognized the child’s issue right away.

He thus makes an effort to support him and develop his artistic skill, and by the end of the film, the youngster has become the greatest painter.

Why is it your favourite movie?

I think it’s a fantastic film with a really important message for society: parents should attempt to develop their children’s talents rather than continually pressuring them to perform well in school because every child is different from the next.

Apart from the good story I also like the comedy in the movie. There were times when we were getting emotional.

Module 2: Describe Your Favorite Movie Ielts Cue Card

Introduction

I was requested to watch the film “12 Angry Men” last Saturday to observe and take away some valuable management and team-building skills. As it happened, it was accurate. I watched the movie and learned a lot.

When did you see it and where?

The trainer made us watch the movie “12 Angry Men” at our team management training session last Saturday. I saw the video on my laptop the same day I was sent a link to it.

What kind of movie was it?

Sidney Lumet is the director of this English-language Hollywood film. Surprisingly, this 1957 film is so old.

What did the movie tell us?

In the movie, a group of jurors deliberated over a murder case and attempted to identify the perpetrator. All the jurors, except one, initially believed that the murderer was the son who had attacked his father with a peculiar knife before fleeing the house. What if the father had been slain and his son was held responsible, asks the dissenting juror. The opposing side of the wheel is turning due to ongoing discussion. People began, one by one, to agree with him and to raise additional queries. Finally, the entire jury concluded that the murderer was not his son but rather an outside thief.

Why is it your favourite movie?

My favorite movie is this one because of the excellent characters, dialogue, and storyline. We can identify with those individuals in this movie since it appears genuine. Above all, the information presented during the conversation and its explanation by specialists is unique.

Module 3: Describe Your Favorite Movie Ielts Cue Card for Band 9

Introduction

While some films we see once and then forget, others have a lasting impact on our lives. I want to discuss 3 Idiots, which is my all-time favorite movie. It is a Bollywood film that renowned Indian filmmaker Raj Kumar Hirani both produced and directed. I was so excited to see this movie since it was based on the well-known novel “5 Points Someone” and featured one of my favorite actors, Aamir Khan.

What was the movie about?

Three college friends from a prominent Indian university are the main subject of the movie. The plot centers on the protagonists, who come from various cultural backgrounds and have diverse life objectives, but who wind up attending an engineering school.

When and where did you see it?

I watched it when I was 14 years old. I was in my early teens. It was Sunday afternoon, I was coming back from school and all my family members were free to watch.

What message did the movie convey?

Hence, it discusses how Asian parents pressure their kids to pursue their aspirations. One of them is endowed with an extremely technical intellect and a distinct outlook on life. However, his acquaintances lacked intelligence and showed little interest in any one subject.

Despite having been released in 2009, this film is still at the top of my list of all-time favorites. I watched it at school with my pals, I seem to recall. The movie has numerous thrilling turns and is expertly made. It became rather well-known among viewers everywhere.

Why is it your favorite?

This is my favorite movie because it addresses a lot of important topics, like friendship, success, and the state of our country’s educational system. Three college classmates’ growing friendship is highlighted in the film. It also teaches us that to succeed in life, we should follow our passions rather than stress over grades. The movie also criticizes the Indian educational system, which places more emphasis on grades than on originality and creative thinking when placing students in jobs.
