Step 1: Make an acount on MBA.com. This website is the official one for GMAT, and it must be used for planning and controlling your exam. Just select “Register” and proceed to make an account by following given instructions.

Step 2: Choose if you want to take the GMAT online or in a test centre.

Step 3: Give a few essential details about yourself, such as your name, address, and educational background.

Step 4: From the available list of options, choose the time and date that you want.

Step 5: Pay the cost of registration. The GMAT tends to cost $275, or INR 22,996, at a test center, and $300, or INR 25,086, online. Credit or debit cards can be used to make the payment.

What are the Accepted Modes of Payment?

Once you are at the final step of completion the GMAT fee, it is crucial to understand the various modes of payment available. Although VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Network cards are easily accepted by GMAC, please be advised that your appointment will be immediately cancelled in the event that the payment from your selected card is denied. You will have to reschedule your test using a working payment method in such circumstances.

GMAC also take checks, cash, and money orders from individuals who would rather use other ways. But do make sure of the following:

  1. Your payment to Pearson VUE-GMAT is in US dollars, drawn from a bank in the United States, and it covers the total amount with taxes if they apply.
  2. This cheque has the date, your signature and the bank name with the location.
  3. They take your payment from your account a minimum of 10 days before the test date for processing.

What happens if I am unable to take the GMAT after paying for it? Will I get the amount back? 

Avoid losing your GMAT registration fee by rescheduling the test as soon as possible. 

Is the GMAT registration fee different for GMAT online at GMAT test centre? 

Yes. GMAT online is slightly expensive, costing $300, while the offline test costs $275. 

Will I be charged extra if I cancel my GMAT? 

There is an extra $10 charge for test cancellations. The cost of your cancellation is increased by this sum. For instance, you would receive a $140 refund if you cancelled 60 days prior to the test ($100 cancellation fee + $10 cost).
