Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hail from a lower income background with urgent need of financial assistance.
- Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
- Applicants must have submitted a complete admission application (including the submission of references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25.
Benefits and Duration
- In the year 2024/25, there will be around 85 scholarships. Out of these, five are for applicants from India specifically.
- The value of the bursary is £15,000.
- The scholarship lasts for only one year, unless the full-time programme is of 2yrs duration. At that point, it will be paid half in each year.
- You can combine the UCL Global Masters Scholarship with other scholarships, studentships, awards or bursaries. The amount of your UCL award might be changed based on how much money you’re receiving from all funds together.
- Students who receive the scholarship must let the UCL Student Funding Office know right away if they get any other funding for their UCL Master’s degree studies, before or after the UCL Global Masters Scholarship is given.
- The scholarship will be used to pay for the recipient’s tuition fees, and any leftover amount can be given to them in three equal portions. This will happen during the academic year, specifically for maintenance.
