Visa & Post-Study Work Opportunities In The USA

To study in USA, one has to secure an F-1 visa. M-1 is also available and is for vocational courses. J-1 is for exchange students and visitors.

Students can work part-time while studying in the USA.

One can choose the Optional Practical Training to work off-campus, before and after the completion of studies. This is a 12-month work authorization. STEM students can get the same for an additional 24 months. This applies to F-1 visa holders.
