I went to this university for a Master program in Events Management and I absolutely loved all the time spent there. Good lecturers, loving facilities, resources etc. The campuses are huge, modern buldings and facilities. I didnt live in one of their campuses but from what I saw from visiting my colleagues, the accomodation they offer is lovely. Of course is not cheap, but all is worth it for the experience. The university also has restaurants, cafes etc with affordable prices. A gym as well for those who are interested. What I loved the most from this experience was the library they have and all the resources they offer to their students to make their life easier. Second thing I liked the most was the teamwork which they emphasize, practical activities, the group projects they give you just to help you understand the theoretical ideas you learn and how to apply them in real life. They also have lots of programs and volunteering you can apply for. During my studies there I had the chance to be accepted for an International Student Ambassador job. You can imagine how happy I was having a job and working for the university , enjoying what I do and also be paid for doing it. As part of the job, I was writing blogs, taking photos for their social media channels, participating in photoshoots for their social media pages, brochures and websites, holding campus tours for their Open Days at the uni etc. It was an amazing experience which helped me grow and definitely I would repet it if I would have the chance again. Pros: ranked on 29th worldwide out of 1591 univerisities measured. Cons: not affordable for everybody, high taxes for their programms but you can always apply for a Student Finance from the Gouvernment.

In August, 2019, my wife and I accompanied our younger daughter to check in the University. She returned to Hong Kong in March 2020 only to return in Sept 2021 and graduated in June 2022. We came back for a photo session on Nov 7, 2022. I believe she didn’t make the most of the facilities here.

This would be one star with the way it's run, however I do appreciate how well maintained the facilities and campus grounds are. Science and Technology is run poorly, especially in this academic year (2024/2025). Recent cuts have led to huge staff shortage which has led my final year feeling as though me and colleagues have less than ideal support. Feels more like a publically ran college with diminishing funding than something I'm paying nearly £10,000 a year for. Though, this may be a comment on the general education status of England at the moment rather than this university specifically though.

During our family trip from India to the UK, we had the chance to visit Bournemouth University, and it turned out to be a surprisingly delightful experience — even though I’m not a student or applicant. I had heard good things about the campus and wanted to explore it in person while we were in the area. The university is set in a peaceful part of Bournemouth, surrounded by greenery and modern architecture. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming — ideal for learning and personal growth. Even as a visitor, we felt comfortable walking around and enjoying the beautiful open spaces. The campus is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. We saw students from many different countries, which gives the university a very global and inclusive feel. My wife and 5-year-old son also enjoyed the visit — there were places to sit, relax, and take in the surroundings.
